Bird Bath, Bird House, Stepping Stone and a Garden Rock

This year for mother's day gifts, the arts and crafts were in full swing! And our theme.... BIRDS!

And since we love birds this was pretty easy for us to come up with ideas. And the ideas turned out wonderful! Anna and Ashley painted and made a birdbath for Grama to hang by one of her bird feeders, Anna painted Grammy a birdhouse for her deck, we both painted a pot of flowers for GiGi, and we both made mommy a stepping stone and painted some beautiful garden rocks for her.

We had so much fun painting out gifts and can't wait for the next gift giving event to do more :)

Love,
Anna and Ashley

PS Enjoy the pictures of our budding artistry. Mommy can't believe how well Anna does at painting pretty much every spot possible; just another sign of growing up!

Anna painted purple and pink, Ashley painted blue and Kate painted pink and green. Mommy did the rest. We love it!

SO serious!

100% done by Anna. She did great for a 2 1/2 year old; trying so hard to cover up all the wood spots! She even picked out all the colors for each side and I was very impressed by how she wanted the entire roof pink and the entire sides yellow, Just like mommy with making things match!

Painting Garden Rocks with Henry
Anna (blue) and Kate (pink) painted the pot and they mixed their colors to get some purple. and Ashley tried to paint the dish but instead choose to paint her ENTIRE belly, no kidding. Her entire belly was pink. I was not the least bit calm with permanent paint around my parents stuff! Mommy painted the gigi of course! Turned out beautiful!
