Lego Sorting

More community service hours in the book!

These girls had fun sorting legos for the organization the Giving Brick.

So proud of all the community service stuff they want to do :)

Deanna Rose

Abby and I spent a couple hours at the farm with Baby Cade and Baby Stella while sissies were at school. We just love the farm; and why we don't get there more often blows my mind!

Kirstens all better!

Look who's back from the doll hospital with all her limbs better attached?!?!

She even got new socks, a hospital gown, her hair re-braided and new ribbons, a get well card and discharge instructions. Ashley was SO excited to have her back!

Pinstripes

When cousins Henry and Frannie were in town, Abby and I had fun meeting them at Pinstripes for bowling! So much fun!

Sometimes you need a corn dog for breakfast...

Gymnastics

Day 1 of gymnastics was painful, but not as painful as dance. She sat on the ground and watched her group for a good 20 minutes until deciding to join them. then she just walked around watching them have fun. And get this- the last 5 minutes she actually participated!!!! At the end she came to me yelling, "I love minnastics!!!"

At least she did more then dance :) There is hope in finding this little one an activity :)

Her second day of gymnastics went even better! She watched them warm up for the first 15 minutes and then jumped into the gymnastics activities. She did refuse to do a couple things but shaking her head no to the coach but for the most part she did gymnastics for 30 min!!!!

Here is is below telling her there i no way she was going to do a somersault- 10 minutes later the coach got her to try a front and back somersault!

Watch out world! Abby is a gymnast :)

Abby's Dance

We had our first day of day for the 4th time last week.

She was more then excited to go and made me take pictures of her all over the house like crazy before. She couldn't wait!

Then we got there and do you see that little red tutu in the background? Yup- she stayed there the entire time....

Oh wait- I lied. When they changed shoes she came over and did this...

Afterwards she said she had so much fun with Lulu and she doesn't want to do dance.

The next week we went back and she sat under my chair like this the whole time telling me gymnastics was her thing, not dance.

Then we got our money back.

Boonville Camping

Last Sunday morning we loaded up the minivan and headed to Boonville, MO to camp the night before the Great american Eclipse. Boonville was ion the direct centerline path of the eclipse and we wanted to fully experience totality and it all since none of us had ever experienced a total solar eclipse before.

Bikes in the trunk, tent and solar eclipse glasses packed we arrived in Boonville mid afternoon. After setting up the tent we went for a bike ride on the Katy Trail and ended eating ice cream from Caseys General Store. After a grilled dinner we watched the fireworks show at the campground (solely for the eclipse) and listened to the live band playing from our campsite. It was a great little day of doing a whole lot of nothing outside and it was GREAT!

We found Ashley Street!
