Kindgarten round up helper!

So proud of this sweet face! She was on the morning announcements and got the golden sticker for helping the incoming Kindergarten class at Kindergarten Round Up.

Can't believe she's going to be a first grader soon!

Abby's flower

Out to eat the other day, I drew the red flower and while I was coloring it in I notice Abby drawing a flower right next to me.

Look at her blue flower- it's amazing!!!!! This little 3 year old sure loves to draw like her sissies (And she's good at it!!)

Ed Tech Award

Don't know what this is all about but Anna was pretty excited! Good job, Anna!

She shoots!

She scores!!!

The night of 2 full moons!

Thanks Henry!!!!!

Soccer!

Soccer games have started!

Ashley was super excited to play and started her season off with a goal! And it wasn't just a "happen to be in the right place at the right time" goal; it was a steal the ball fast break goal. It was awesome! And get this: she fell twice during the game and never cried (huge improvement from last season)

Way to go Ashley!!!!!

Happy Easter!

Our reading "nooks"

The best place to read while mommy fixes dinner. We LOVE spring!

Claw master

This one is becoming quite the wizard at the claw arcade games! She always manages to come away with a stuffie! This time she used $2.50 of her own money and scored a purple bunny. The picture says it all

Ashley's Flower Sketch

Ashley saw me draw a big flower and asked me to teach her how to do the same. Check out this 6 year old's sketch of a flower- pretty darn AMAZING!

Sleeping Beauty Ballet

Last Wednesday was Girl Scout night at the Kaufmann Theatre. We got to go and watch Sleeping Beauty with some of our Daisy friends and had SO much fun!

We started the night with dinner at Lulu's. These 4 had an absolute blast!!!!

And then headed to the performance. Anna was absolutely in love with the show and didn't want to leave early like the rest of us. Somehow she won and we stayed the entire ballet :)

Dreaming of one day being on that stage!

Bug Run Volunteers

Two Saturdays ago, the girls and I volunteered at the Bug Run in Olathe. We were at a water station and besides the fact that our fingers were frozen halfway through, we really had fun!

Ashley the Party Crasher

Somehow this little one always manages to crash Anna's friends birthday parties; and luckily Anna loves having her there! This time it was Sabrina's birthday party at Urban Air. They had a last minute cancel and wanted Ashley to stay since they had already paid for the slot. Ashley was more then ready and willing!!!

Ashleys Daisy Troop

Such little cuties making signs to thank their teachers for all that they do for them :)

Aunt Anne's Birthday Dinner

We celebrated Aunt Anne's REAL 40th birthday with her at Garozzo's- YUM YUM!

We ate WAY to much- just LOVE that place!

Clean Mile Trash Pick Up

Last Saturday morning we went with Advent Lutheran Church to clean their Adopt-A-Mile. Since Abby threw a colossal fit about being cold (it was windy), Anna, Ashley and Daddy went off to walk and clean the mile. After a good 30 minute time out for Abby in the car we spent the last 30 minutes cleaning up the parking lot and surrounding area. Anna and Ashley had fun; they couldn't believe they found an old toilet and dead hawk along their stretch!

Happy 40th Aunt Anne!

This past Saturday we spent the entire afternoon playing at the Hortons and celebrating Aunt Anne's 40th birthday! We put on shows, Daddy played the piano, ate good food, Abby made Aunt Anne dinosaur dig cups, taught Kate to sew and just enjoyed hanging with the Hortons and Googah. Happy Birthday Aunt Anne!
