First Black Eye

Abby was playing with neighbors on the hammock and got accidentally kicked in the eye resulting in her first black eye.

Poor little girl! She's a bruiser for sure now :)

President's Day Date

Rob and I went out on a "Kissy Kissy Date" (that is what the girls call them) on Presidents Day. Thanks to Grammy for babysitting, we got to venture down to the Plaza to try a new restaurant Fontaine at the Palmer Hotel. The menu looks fantastic so we sat down and ordered a drink only to find that they were using their brunch menu for that day. Disappointed, we finished out drinks and then headed to Capitol Grille for a knock our socks of lunch. The waiter was shocked we ate all that we did- so so so yummy!

saturday in KC

The first weekend of March was gorgeous so we started our Saturday morning volunteering at the Urban Farming Guys. We prepped beds for asparagus and raked up sticky balls.

Then after we met Grammy and Poppy down at City Market to walk around and have lunch. So much fun! We even got special drinks at the KC Soda Company which was really fun.

Feb cousin birthday party

Towards the end of February we had the cousins over for a February birthday celebration complete with an Italian feast and cookie cake.

Love our time with these cousins and LOVE that we can get together like this :)

Both girls art work got chosen by the art teacher to hang in the board room at BV District Office during the month of February.

The girls were so excited to see their work on display for al the important school district members to see.

yes way.... snow day!

The day after Presidents Day we had a snow day. So we headed to the library to rent a movie, to target to buy a swim suit for Spring Break and Dave and Busters with the Harpers for a snow-cation!!!!

Loving her time in Ballet 2 on Tuesdays with her god friend Mia and 3 of her old Dance troupe friends.

Ballet is by far her favorite type of dance and it's so fun to watch her do what she loves!
