The Madness!

OH Black Friday, We sure do love you!!!!

We didn't pull an all nighter this year, but we certainly made it to the stores we wanted to get to pretty close to the time they opened! We might be crazy, but we sure do have fun!

Much Love,
Jenny

SO tired!

Turkey DOES make you tired! Can you believe I had almost a 3 hour nap Thanksgiving afternoon? I was beat!

Turkey Day

We love Thanksgiving and this year was no different then the past few. Well, except for adding another kid to the mix; which meant juggling 2 different nap schedules. Looking back, we did pretty darn good!

Thanksgiving day was spent with the Stilley extended family at the Lakewood Clubhouse, Thanksgiving evening at my parents house and the Friday after was with Rob's mom's extended family (I had forgotten my camera and no pics were taken there). At each get together we were showered with good food, conversations and even time to relax! We snagged a lot of Christmas card worthy photos as a family and with the grandparents and as always, we loved us some turkey!!!!! We certainly gobbled until we wobbled!

Pretty good looking Christmas photo!
 Stilley Extended Gathering
This little turkey sure had fun!
She also had fun attacking her little cousin Leo at every opportunity possible!

Just another cousin attack!

Doggypile on daddy with a full belly!!!!
Doesn't he look like he's ready for twins?!?!?
Fimmen Gathering

Another good Christmas card photo taken!
Thanks to the cooks for the yummy food!
Kids Table
All of mommies Fimmen uncles were in town to help GiGi move in!

All the Fimmen Ladies!
There is so much to be thankful for and we were so glad to have been able to spend the weekend with those we love; especially with our beautiful and loving girls!

Jumpin Jacks

Last Monday, Mommy, Ashley and I went to meet Aunt Anna and Kate for breakfast at Unforked. It was really good and you won't believe what happened next......

Mommy put my car seat in Aunt Anne's car and I got to drive in her car with Kate! Not only did I get to drive with them but I got to go to Jumpin Jacks too while mommy brough Ashley back to Grandma's for a nap. I had so much fun jumping and every time I went up the slides I would make Aunt Anne go up with me! I think I wore her out :) After that we met Grandma at GiGi's new house to help her clean and we played hide and go seek and had a picnic McDonalds on ton GiGi's kitchen floor.

It was SO cool spending the morning with just Aunt Anne and Kate!

Love,
Anna

Look Who Came For a Visit This Weekend?!?!?

It's our VERY OWN ELF! Santa sent him to us all the way from the North Pole to stay with us from the day after Thanksgiving until Christmas Eve, when he flies back to spend the rest of the year with Santa. We love our Elf and each morning we find him in a different spot; you see he leaves every night to go and visit Santa to tell him what good girls we've been that day. And also to remind Santa about Anna's wish for a Robot and now an Aerial doll.

Mommy and Daddy read the story to us on Saturday and then we watched the movie that was on Friday night. Anna TOTALLY bought into everything and has been talking NON-stop about how when she's sleeping at night the Elf goes and talks to "Ho Ho" about A (Anna) and robots and then flies back and sits in a new spot the next day waiting for us to find him. She even reminds me not to touch him so the magic doesn't wear off.

When we were reading the book, it asks that you give your Elf a name. It took us a while; Anna wanted Aerial and mommy suggested Sparkle; Daddy didn't like either so he suggested Finkle. We called him Finkle for a while but it just didn't catch on with Anna. Somehow, don't even ask how, we ended up with Otter. Yes, that's right. Otter the Elf!

We are having so much fun with him :) We love you Otter!

Little Helper

When mommy opens the dishwasher, I BEE LINE it to help her! I love pulling the wire tray out and pushing it back in, love lifting the soap tray's lid open and close and love trying to climb up onto it (Mommy's dishwasher door is much higher then Grammys.... I can crawl up onto Grammys all by myself!) I get upset when she closes it and sometimes I even cry or scream!

I like helping mommy much better when Anna is not around because she also LOVES the dishwasher and beelines to mommy's side to help her as well. I am sure you can imagine that Anna wins with the dishwasher.... just give me another year Anna :)

Tooth!

Finally got a picture of the tooth!

And guess what? there's another one breaking in as well :) The big girl now has 2 teeth! And the funniest thing about it is that she is always sticking her tongue out to explore these new teeth and making the funniest faces!

Hog Nose Funny Face

For about a month now, I have been making "funny face," aka "hog nose." Whenever I do it everyone laughs because not only do I make the face but I make a huffying sound as well to get everyone's attention! And I do it ALL THE TIME! Anna thinks it's hilarious and she often imitates me; sometimes I get everyone around me to do it too!

Mommy finally caught it in action on the camera!

Red Hat, Blue Hat, Green Hat.....

....OOPS!!!!!

I LOVE this book!!!! It makes me belly giggle SO hard; almost to the point where I have tears in my eyes! Grandma does it the best, but mommy and daddy do a pretty good job as well!

I especially LOVE the part, "OOOOOPS!!!!" It even wporks on me when I am in a bad mood/crying.... just start reading the book and I will probably cheer up :)

Another mail lady

I LOVE Mommy and Daddy's Bed

.... and so do my babies!!!

I keep telling Daddy's Lambie no jumping on mommy and daddy's bed, he might get a boo boo. But he doesn't listen :)

"Daddy's Lambie" (I have two Lambie; one that I "gave" to Daddy) is so lucky that he gets to sleep there at night with Mommy and Daddy! I wonder if I will ever get to sleep in it; all I do now is read and sometimes have my milk baba there in the morning .

Swimming Lessons

I started taking swimming lesson three weekends ago at the Y. Daddy and I go together and it is my special time with him; sometimes mommy and Ashley come and watch depending on Ashley's naps. It is my second time taking swimming lesson and I love it. I love it so much that I cry REALLY hard when they are done. Daddy is so awesome and he takes me 20 minutes early each time so I can swim longer; but I still cry when it's done.

My instructors name is Gina and she was very impressed today that I can go under water without freaking out. We sing fun songs, play with water animals and play fun games. There are 3 other kids in the class so I get a lot of attention from Gina. Daddy says I am doing awesome at everything but really need to work on trusting him to hold me when I swim on my back. I am still not entirely sure of the back float though!

Blowing Bubbles!

Playing with the water and animals in the shallow end- LOVE them!

Swimming after Gina my instructor!
I am such a little fishy!

Anna

Puzzles

I just LOVE puzzles and WOW am I good at them!!!

I will do my favorite puzzle over and over again (I mean sometimes 5 or 6 times in a row; 20 times a day) and can do it by myself. About 2 months ago mommy and daddy would have to help me with the 12 piece animal jigsaw puzzle , but for a little over a week now I can do it all by myself! I stay super focused the entire time I work on it and I get SUPER proud of myself when I finish it. Mommy and Daddy are pretty amazed because the puzzles are recommended for kids 3 and older! See..... I keep telling them I am three just like Baby Bop; maybe they'll believe me now?!?!? :)

I hope Santa brings me some new ones to learn!

Love,
Anna

Santa and Bot

Mommy: "Anna, when you met Santa what did you say to him?"

Anna: "Hi."

Mommy: "And what else did you say to Santa?"

Anna: "Bot!" ("Bot" is Anna talk for robot and she says this as she makes her hand motions and face expressions for robot.....)

Mommy: laugh laugh (thinking okay Santa and your elves, where are you going to get a CHEAP robot???) "Anna and what did Santa say to you?"

Anna: "Ho Ho."

:)

The Little Turkey!

Happy First Thanksgiving!!! I even got to eat some sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce and bread! Can't wait to eat even more next year! YUM YUM!
