The last day in Chicago started with group snuggles. and IPAD time
Then we split up for the morning; we headed to the Lincoln Park zoo on a failed attempt to find goose paddleboat. But we still had fun. We took a nice morning stroll along the lakeside path, Ashley and Abby explored the zoo with Daddy and Anna and I took to the buses and got lost on a mission to find a Michael's to buy crafts for the train ride home. And the funny part of the day; Anna says her favorite part was getting lost with me!
Then we met up for a last lunch, walked quickly back to the hotel and took a bus to catch the train at Union Station.
The train didn't get to KC until 10:30 so we had a lot of sleeping beauties on this part of the trip!!
What an awesome trip it was!
