Royals Baseball

Tonight we went to our first Royals baseball game and had so much fun! We even got certificates from the Royals welcoming us to out first game- too cool! We sat in an area where not a lot of people sat so we could both be in the shade and have room for Anna to run around. And run around she did! She just couldn't get enough of the stairs and mommy had to bribe her with food to sit down! We did sit for the first 5 innings (well for 3 of those Daddy sat with Ashley while Mommy and Anna did the stairs) and then decided to walk around to make Anna happy. When walking around Ashley fell asleep quickly and Anna was in heaven! We saw the kids section where Anna spotted two of her favorite things in one- a water fountain ball- and spent a lot of time in front of the fountains looking at the water and watching the game. We even got wet when the fountains shot up right in front of us! Anna thought that was awesome and wanted more more more! She also wanted more of the music they played, fireworks, water from the water bottles, stairs and balls. We left right before the 7th inning to get home for a late bedtime. The Royals won 11-2. How much of the game we actually saw..... who knows! But we had a blast!

Grown Up

We learned a lot about being older this week and had so much fun doing it!

Wednesday night we went to cousin Henry's soccer game and got to see 3 and 4 year olds play soccer. Henry did really good. We can't wait until we can play soccer!

The next day it was take your child to work day and mommy took us to have lunch with daddy. We got to see where he works and Anna got to play on Daddy's desk. She LOVED playing with the calculator and couldn't believe that Daddy's work computer didn't play princess movies- quite the disappointment! We had so much fun eating with Daddy and can not wait until we go back next year when we are a little older! Here's a picture of Anna taking care of "business!"

Then after our nap that day, we went to cousin Kate's Mother's Day Out musical performance. She did such a super job singing and was very excited to see us! Anna loved playing around her classroom and can't wait until she gets to go to preschool!

OH what fun we had!

Easter Afternoon

After we woke up from our naps we went to Uncle Aaron and Aunt Laura's house to celebrate Easter again with Grammy, Poppy, Henry and the Riggs extended family. We had an excellent dinner, an Easter egg hunt, played some soccer, did some Easter crafts, played some piano (Anna loves Aunt Laura's piano!), played inside and outside and just hung out! It was so much fun!! We even got to meet Daddy's cousins new baby, Georgia.

Easter Morning

Easter morning we all met Aunt Anne, Uncle Todd, Kate, Grandma and Grandpa at church for Easter mass. Ashley slept most of the time and daddy spent most of the time trying to keep Anna the wiggle wort calm. Overall, we had a great mass! Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa's for a awesome brunch, had an Easter egg hung, sat outside on the screened in porch and chilled, took some naps (Daddy included), went swinging in the swing and played. And of course before all of that we had to take our yearly Easter photos out by Grandma's pretty flowers.... and Daddy thought he was going to pass out he was so hungry!!!! Oh, we just LOVE Easter! And how can I forget to mention that Grandma had the COOLEST bunny outfit for me to wear. I loved it and thought it was so funny to look in the mirror and see my ears. I LOVE bunnies! And of course, I did the bunny HOP HOP HOP!

do i look worn out or what???
