Doc McStilley

Time for a Check Up!

The girls latest obsession (both of them) besides Strawberry Shortcake is Doc McStuffins. It's an adorable show on Disney Junior (we don't get that station but we watch the episodes online) where pretty much all this girls toys come to life and she is the doctor who takes care of them. Needless to say, playing doctor has become a favorite around this house :)

Toys R Us Big Book!

The Toys R Us Big Book came in the paper Sunday. Let every child wish a little wish for Christmas.... Our girls big wish items; a Plum Pudding (purple) drum set and Doc McStuffins stuff. Oh to be young again!

I love this pic below- I just realized that Ashley was giving her first thumbs up!!!!

The Bank

Saturday morning Daddy took us to the bank. Our piggy banks were getting REALLY heavy so we thought it was time to make a bank trip. So we emptied all the change and dollars at home and with over $47 actual dollars combined (plus lots of coins that have to be added in later), we made one big deposit towards college. Anna was excited and willing to hand over her money; Ashley was not. She screamed and screamed when they took her bag of money away and a lollipop just barely soothed her pain. Apparently the bank teller told Rob she felt like the doctor after giving shots. Oh Ashley....

Henry's Birthday Party

This past Saturday we went to Antioch Park to celebrate my nephew Henry's birthday. It was a Mario themed birthday party and we had lots of fun! Since I wanted (ok, needed a family themed halloween pic) and since it was supposed to be a high of 48 that day we had to think warm and layers. So we decided to be Daddy Bones and his Boo's! Rob and I look pretty scary but Anna thought it was awesome. She loved being a ghost and it turns out that there are ghosts on Mario Brothers- perfect, we fit the theme! :) I just like it when we are a little cuter.....

All in all, for the most part we stayed warm and had fun celebrating Henry's 5th birthday. I can't believe my nephews and niece turn 5 this year. CRAZY!

Much Love,
Jenny

We had fun playing on the playground!

But our favorite thing by far was a MASSIVE pile of leaves. We played in this for at least 20 minutes!

This child can carry a lot of leaves!

My flying ghost0 I love this pic!!!!!

Where's Ashley!?!?!

Pumpkin Carving

After Henry's birthday party we all went back to Aaron and Laura's to do some pumpkins. While I got everything ready for carving the kids had a blast making sticker, mod podge, and glitter pom pom pumpkins. Anna's finishes project..... (Ashley was too antsy to do this project!)
Then the kids helped me hollow out my pumpkin. Henry loved the seeds but Anna and Ashley weren't too sure of them so they used a spoon or scoop the entire time they helped.

That was pretty much all the kids helped with so the carving was left up to me and only me because apparently I was the only adult wanting to carve pumpkins! The finished project, which I had to take home and finish after the girls went to bed, turned out excellent!
But two days later Chippy got to it.....
And finished it off the next night. We really need to catch this little rascal!

Much Love,
Jenny
