Johnson Farms with Fimmens

This morning the girls and I met my parents and the Horton's out at Johnson Farms for our first pumpkin patch of the season. We played for about a little over an hour in the kids area filled with a bunch of things to do and then ventured out on a hayride to the patch.

WARNING- I took a lot of pictures. I just love the pumpkin patch!

Petting the llama with Papa!
 WEEEEEE!!

Running to keep up with the big kids.... always around 10 steps behind :)
 One cooperated....
 And one didn't.....
 We loved these cut outs!!!!

At one point, Anna was wanting to be a ghost this year and Ashley a pumpkin. Looks like it happened today :)

"Kate. you have to see this messy bus. SO messy."
In the maze running around trying to find Kate and Anna
 EXCITED!!!
Someone found a good hiding spot...
 BOO!!!! Found you!
 "Johnson" Deere Tractor

We got a free ticket to do one paid kids activity. Kate wanted to jump on the big orange balloon. Anna was very tentative....
VERY slow going up the balloon....
And didn't like it one bit.
Maybe next year she'll love it just as much as her cousin did.  I am pretty certain that if Ashley would have been old enough to do it, she would have been doing hurkie's right by Kate!

 The hayride!

The best pumpkins of all :)
Grandma is directing the way to the awesome pumpkins we found!
 We love the wheelbarrow!

 LOVE this pic!
This kids were in charge of finding good little ones with Grama and Papa while my sister and I scouted deeper in the patch. Don't worry- Grama and Papa were also on the lookout for huge ones!

Anna found one just her size
And Ashley found one just her size...

Our loot! 350 pounds plus. We really love our pumpkins!
Once again... the BEST pumpkins in the patch :)

It was SUPER muddy out there

But worth the mud for the fun time we had :)

After the patch we listened and danced to the country music band they had there. Anna kept saying, "Me never heard this song before!"

And by the end we were pretty warn out and hungry! So we headed out to Coach's Bar and Grill for lunch. (Gigi and Daddy met us there!)

If you can't tel from the amount of pictures, I just LOVE pumpkin patches- especially pick your own when you get to venture out and find hidden pumpkin treasures scattered across a field. We had an absolute blast and found amazing pumpkins this year! It looked a lot colder then it was... it was just very overcast. Altogether we collected over 350 pounds of pumpkins! WOW we do have problems making decisions!!! And just us three girls, well we brought in 109 pounds!!! So much fun and can't wait to go back with Rob's family next weekend! Maybe I'll be successful at getting a sister picture in the patch that time (not banking on it though)!  I just love this time of the year!

Much Love,
Jenny
