Homegrown

Nothing is better then a home grown tomato fresh off the vine, home grown basil, basalmic vinegar straight from Italy and some mozzeralla (just wish that was homemade!!!)

Just a little slice of heaven!

Wedding Gifts

It is SO nice to be using our wedding gifts once again. The Kitchen Aide Mixer and all the attachments have been packed up since we moved to Wichita. Yes, that was 2 years ago this past March. They are like brand new and I LOVE THEM! It's almost like I am using them for the first time. SO MUCH FUN!

Much Love,
Jenny

PS I made cucumber salad because I picked another 6 tonight. I don't think I have ever eaten this much cucumber in a week before. The salad was great!

"Balcony"

Something in this picture doesn't belong......

Anna is having quite the hard time resisting the urge to throw things down from the second floor into the foyer. She had to learn her lesson the hard way with the hat getting stuck and I think it's safe to say she now knows what not to do :) Luckily Daddy is tall enough to reach it without a ladder!

First Meal

We were all so excited to eat at our new house for the first time we hardly ate. (Oops, rephrase. The girls minus mommy hardly ate!)

We have gone from eating on TV trays to eating on our old kitchen table that is way too small for the space (but it works for now).

And I might add that we are very excited to have both booster seats out of storage so that the kids are contained. They were beginning to drive me nuts not having them!

Jenny

First Dinner on Patio

The other night Daddy wasn't home for dinner and mommy needed a break from us so we headed out back to the water table on our deck for our first patio dinner. Which turned into play time.....
Mommy thought we'd eat. Hello, do you not see the awesome water table we can play with????
Then she bribed us with doughnuts that Daddy had brought home from work that day. Ashley took the bait....
And shortly later so did Anna.
Mommy sat back and just watched it all.....
After about an hour of being outside, we had eaten our dinner, doughnut and had gotten our baths for the evening!

Anna and Ashley

My Neighbors

Before we moved in, Anna and i would talk about neighbors. We would talk about what to say to them when you met them, how to ask them to play and what we want to get private from them.

Pretty much she knows that....

Neighbors don't wanna see
*chubber
*naked babies
*panties
*my belly
*my bottom
*boobies

What we will do with neighbors
*meet neighbors at pool
*play with neighbors at my new house
*make friends that are neighbors

When I meet them I will say
*Hi, My name is Anna
*I am so very happy to see you
*This is my sister, Ashley

I could not WAIT to see this all put into action.

Well these last couple of days it's been GREAT watching her!

Whenever we are outside in the backyard and she hears voices she immediately runs to see if she can find the neighbors. So far we have met the little boy who lives next to us and behind us. She said hi to them and then just watched them.

We have met several others at the pool and it goes about the same. She gets super excited to see people coming to the pool (we are always the only ones there when we arrive for some reason). She talks to me about what she is going to say and then when they get there she says "hi" and then stays close to me and watches them. We have met a little 14 mth old girl names Olive, a 3 year old girl named Lauryn and a 1 year old boy and his older 3 year old brother. The other kids are just as shy as she is.

It will be fun watching the girls come out of their shells and make friends. I am proud of them.

Our Pantry

I LOVE it!

I thought it was going to be Ashley's favorite room in the house but honestly she hasn't spent much time in there. Me on the other hand..... it just might be my favorite room! I have organized and reorganized it with every dish pack I have unpacked. It i9s currently housing a LOT of glassware, chargers and plates that need a home in a hutch. I can't wait to get my hutch so that my panty will be even more awesome! I never knew a walk in pantry was THIS awesome!

Much Love,
Jenny

PS Can you tell we've been to Costco?!?!?

Mantle and Frames

Oh my, Oh my!

Where will all this stuff go?!?!?!

 To Be continued.......

As for Ashley, she likes to eat them....

Week One Pics Then and Now

I apologize for both the coloring and lighting in these pictures. I am not taking the time to edit them (or any others that I posted today or in the next few days) to my liking because I would NEVER get caught up on my blogs!

We have been super busy this past week with still a ton to do. But we feel pretty good with where we are currently at given the fact that we have two small children under 3 that literally don't let us get much done when they are awake! See for yourselves all that we have accomplished!!!!!!

CURRENT MESS

Basement
CURRENT MESS that gives me the ebby jeebees with how much needs to be done
RIGHT when you open the door you think OMG
then you turn the corner and it gets worse
and worse
and worse
Rob can't wait to start on his work area!
Linen Closets (Yes, that's 2!)
No before pictures.

Downstairs foyer closets (yes, 2!)
No before pictures.
the winter closet is good to go!
the other closet is hiding some of my addiction- glassware- until we get a hutch to store it all in. We will probably need 2. Serious. You wouldn't believe how many glasses I have. I could have the entire neighborhood over for a toast. LITERALLY.

The Foyer
No before pictures from this angle.
Believe it or not, just a stack of blankets needing to find a home. Usually there is stuff on the stairs waiting to be carried up!

Our Deck (we did this tonight in under 1 and a half hours while Rob was grilling and the girls were playing in the water table.) Not too shabby!

I really can't believe how much we have gotten done. It really is nice being married to someone who is just as motivated as I am to get this place up and running so we can settle. It's so nice.

Much Love,
Jenny
