Halloween Season

We just love Halloween and it's not even here yet! We have done so many fun stuff; pumpkin patches, pumpkin ranch, pumpkin painting, pumpkin carving, trick or treating at Daddy's work and playing dress up in our costumes. And to add to that list, we went to Daddy's church Sunday morning for a Fall Festival. We got to wear our costumes and play play play! Anna made a craft with blue marker EVERYWHERE, picked out a lollipop, had snacks and spent most of her time in the bounce house. Daddy took us there and mommy met us there after picking out our family pictures (by the way the turned out AWESOME!). We had a REALLY fun time; thanks Second!

Lambie Tackle

Since I have started sleeping with Lambie in my crib, several times when mommy comes in to get me after a nap or in the morning I am tackling Lambie just like this! I also go sometimes go straight for Lambie when put in my crib to play when mommy brushing her teeth or is having Anna go potty.

Mommy and Daddy wonder if I do this during the night because they hear several loud bangs (like my head is hitting the crib) coming from my room. Only I know that.....

Here are a couple more cute pics of me in my crib!

And we had to to throw this one in.... TOO cute! I am scaling EVERYTHING and am getting pretty darn close to taking my first step! CRAZY!

Just like Mommy

Here I am dressed in mommy's favorite thing in the world to wear.... a hooded sweatshirt and loose leg yoga pants! I look just like her when she wears her KU hoodie! Mommy says this hoodie is one of her favorite things to see me wear!

Faulkner's Ranch

On Saturday we went to Faulkner's Ranch in Raytown with Grammy, Poppy, Uncle Aaron and Henry. We fed a lot of animals (my first time to feed a buffalo!), played in the bounce house, rode in a CRAZY and FAST barrel train, rode on dirt tractors, walked around a maze, ate a yummy hotdog lunch, attempted to ride a horse, picked out a pumpkin and played played played!!! The place was great; sort of a young kid amusement park. We can definitely see us going back each year because we LOVED it!

Feeding a buffalo for the first time.... she wasn't very hungry though :(
Oh my! the donkey is starving!!!!

Mommy's favorite picture from the entire day... Henry protecting Anna on the barrel ride. Daddy, Mommy, Henry and Anna all went on the barrel train and Anna choose to sit by Henry. Being the awesome big cousin he is, not only did he let her sit in the barrel with her but he had his arm around her the ENTIRE time! And it was seriously a FAST barrel ride!
Hold On!
Ashley LOVED riding with Daddy on what Henry called the Mario Karts!
Anna couldn't quite reach the pedals... next year!
Horsey Saddle Swing- COOL!

Water Duck Race!
That's as close as she got to riding that horse. No way was she going to get on that thing!

Our Lil Pumpkin!
Our Other Lil Pumpkin!

Can't wait to come back next year!

Happy Birthday Papa

Papa's birthday was Saturday and we all went to his house for a steak dinner. Mommy made a REALLY good twice backed potato casserole that she found on pinterest and we had a hot fudge sundae bar. It was REALLY fun!

We love you Papa!

BIG Smiles!
Ah-MAZING! Just might become a staple casserole for get togethers!
BIG hugs for the Birthday Boy!
And Kisses too!
Papa opening the present we got him and Anna helping!

MEOW Pumpkin

We carved a pumpkin at Papa's Birthday Party this weekend.... oh wait.... we should say MOMMY carved a pumpkin; we just watched and played until it was dark enough to see it lit up... that was the collest part! And what did we carve? A kitty cat in honor of the 6 cats that live withing a 2 house radius of us... yep.... 6 cats at least! But mommy is afraid to put it out on our front porch because of the squirrels. So Ollie the neighbor cat will never see ours!

Watching Papa carve the top off the pumpkin
Anna was VERY unsure about the "guts"... Ashley wanted to eat them AND the pumpkin!
Look at Anna's mouth- wide in amazement that Ashley is actually helping.
What was supposed to be a kid activity turned into a sister activity :)
Maybe we should try pumpkin this week for dinner :) She kept biting it!

The "Lone Carver"
MEOW!

Turned out pretty neat! Mommy thinks this was the first pumpkin she has done alh by herself!

TOO BIG

Well at least I tried.....

Looks like the little girl is either TOO BIG for this little pumpkin or the pumpkin is TOO SMALL for this little girl! It looks like she is pooping on the pumpkin instead.

Cute attempt but not exactly what I was going for!

Much Love and no more trying to shove my babies into pumpkins,
Jenny

Trick or Treating At BATS

This past Friday we got dressed up in our Halloween outfits with mommy (the Pink Ladies) and headed to Daddy's work for a Halloween Party. We got to go trick or treating, play in Daddy's cubicle and make 2 crafts (a spider one that was MUCH too advanced) and a pumpkin one that was more suited to Anna's ability. We had so much fun! We just LOVE visiting the place where daddy "makes the munja!"

One Little Pink Lady!
Ashley SO badly wants Anna's Candy!!!
