Lotion

I have never seen a 2 1/2 year old take better care of her face.

Nightly (without reminders) she washed her face with soap and then lotions up.

Amazing!!!

HOHO

My little elves :)

Otter....

Christmas eve is so exciting but it is also sad. Our elf Otter heads back to Santa until Thanksgiving next year. Bittersweet.

We just love Otter. Otter has been up to some crazy things this year. Teepeeing the Christmas Tree, pooping into a wine glass (by the way did you know that Elves poop chocolate chips????), eating the elf donuts the girls made and so much more.

We love you Otter and already miss waking up to your shenanigans!

Here we are trying the Elf poop. Daddy went first and confirmed it was chocolate chips. Anna went next, Ashley never tried :)

Making Elf Donuts for our most LOVED elf Otter and his elf friends!!!

We even got to buy Otter an outfit this year. He wore it a couple days and we think he left it at the North Pole.... we can't find it!!!!

Christmas Eve

I love Christmas eve. It just may be my favorite time of the holiday. The excitement is so awesome.

We started the evening off by attended our church's children's service where anna sang some songs with the children's choir. Then we headed back home to a yummy dinner of chick fil a tenders (I got fancy this year!), twice baked tomatoes, spinach salad and tomatoes Gorgonzola cheese. Yum!!!

Grama, Papa, Gigi, Poppy and Grammy all joined in on the Christmas eve dinner tradition at our house. It was lovely.

We ate, watched the Santa tracker, listened and dance to Christmas music, talked, put out reindeer food and cookies for Santa, listened to Daddy read the night before Christmas and just had fun.

The girls could hardly wait for morning!!!

Early Christmas Present for Abby

Anna and Ashley wanted to get Abby a build a bear BUT they wanted her to have it on Christmas.

So we decided to give Abby her sister gift  day early And head to build a bear on Christmas eve. (Yes the mall. It actually wasn't too bad but there is a reason I always have my shopping done).

After careful thought Abby picked out her bear and started building. She gave it a personality, selected a song, kissed the heart, stuffed the bear, bathed the bear and finally found some clothes for her bear.

To say she was excited is an understatement. She couldn't stop loving on and hugging the bear she named "lala bear."

And of course I crumbled and let the big girls build one after she was done. But I held my ground in telling thwm they had to buy from the cheap area and when they asked to buy their new animals clothes.

All Xmas eve it was all about "lala bear."

XMAS Crafting

Being that we were sick much of the days working up to Christmas (more on that soon), we spent a lot of time at home trying to get better by resting. And crafting.....
