It's almost been 2 months since this trip......
With that being said, let's try and see if I remember what we did this day (god thing I take lots of photos!)
We started the morning early to beat the Canada traffic on the bridge to the USA.....
Our first stop was Whirlpool Scenic Overlook. The over look was beautiful but we failed to find the path down to the water. So we sat and had a snack instead :)
Then we headed to see American Falls fro the US side. And we saw SO many rainbows from this view!
An Asian lady stopped to take pictures with our children.... this always happens.....
Then we walked up to the platform (AKA bridge headed to no where) to see a great view of all the falls from the American Side.
The bridge back to Canada....
Then we walked to the base of the American Falls and got super close!
They were butterflies for the day....
Lunch inside Niagara Falls State Park...
And a hot, hot walk to Bridal Falls and Goat Island. But we made it!
Another hike to 3 Sisters Island....
Just 3 sisters on 3 Sisters Island...
And the trolley back to our car!
A successful day on the US side led us to this fabulous ice cream stand. YUM.
They entertained themselves wth the "Don't Laugh" game.
And then we headed back to Canada....
And finished the night with swimming, hotel room eating and movie watching! A perfect day to a busy day on our feet!
