Canada Day 2- Niagara Falls Ontario

Our first full day in Canada we did some serious tourist activities and walking! The girls all registered over 20,000 steps on their fit bit! Wowsers!!!!

First stop- Horseshoe Falls....

We took the Incline Railway down to the falls...

Visited the Welcome Center where we purchased our passes for the next couple of days...

And then headed back out to walk along the falls to our first destination of the day....

At first Abby didn't like the falls and ran and hid because it was too loud....

Shortly later, she rejoined us.

We saw the boat that we were getting ready to ride.....

Us in front of American Falls (big on left) and Bridal Falls (small on right)

Then we got a poncho and boarded the Hornblower cruise to Horseshoe Falls....

We got a bit wet...

Loved the unclose and wet view of all 3 falls!

Then it was time for a picnic lunch!

After lunch we went to Journey Behind the Falls where we actually took an elevator down and walked in a cave built behind horseshoe falls with lookouts carve out behind the falls. It was amazing.

They were cold so they snuggled with me under my poncho...

View from the lookout deck at the base of Horseshoe Falls....

Abby was NOT a fan....

Snack time!!!!

And then we went to watch and experience Niagaras Fury in an interactive movie about the creation of the falls.

Bus ride back to the hotel after a very long day!

With a stop in the concierge lounge for appetizers and another magnificent view of the falls....

Then we set out for a night walk to the Skylon Tower for another amazing view of the Falls.

And then hiked to Queen Victoria Park for a relaxing evening of games, views and gymnastics!

Dinner and donuts at Tim Horton's. And the best hot chocolate EVER!!!

And then a night time stroll back to our hotel...

And then fireworks. Again. So pretty!
