Royals Game 3/4 in San Francisco

When the Royals made the World Series, Rob's friend Charlie from Grad School emailed him saying  if Rob could get to San Francisco, he had tickets to the World Series for him. Rob jumped on the opportunity, booked a flight and headed out to Game 3/4 of the World Series. As for us girls, we continued cheering on the Royals from my parents house.

He got to see a Royal victory in Game 3 and experience a Giants victory in Game 4. He had never been to AT&T Field in San Francisco so that added to the excitement as well. To sum his 48 hours in San Fran ion one sentence; he had an awesome, awesome time in awesome, awesome seats!!! :)

He did have some time to run around San Francisco on his own Saturday. He walked to the Farmer's Market and had breakfast, bought a picnic lunch from the market and joined his friend Jeff (who came in and sat with him at Game 4) in a late morning/early afternoon stroll across the Golden Gate Bridge to the ocean. Pretty nice Saturday if you ask me :)

Enjoy the pictures :)

GAME 4

The dreaded rainbow- the rain stopped, the rainbow came out and San Fran took the lead.... BOOO!

The "pie" even made it to San Fran  for both games!:)

Rob even hung out with the guy the KC Star wrote up about being abused by San Fran fans while wearing his 1985 uniform :) Which he wore the uniform both times on the airplane!!!
