After school Friday we went and bought a pumpkin at the grocery store and carved it during Abby's nap. Anna wanted a triangle eye, Ashley wanted a rectangle eye, both wanted a circle nose and a mouth with 3 teeth. Presto, chango, we did it!!!!
The girls drew what they wanted to carve. We gutted the pumpkin (Ashley was not at all into this, Anna was all over it). And then the girls used the small carving tools to carve out their shapes. And they did great!
Of course the pumpkin wasn't complete with just the carving; Anna insisted that we add hair. So we did.
