Gardner Airport

On the drive back from strawberry picking, we pulled over at a tiny airport alongside the road, the Gardner Airport. We were going to look at the planes from afar and maybe catch one taking off or landing. But we got lucky.

A man was working and let us come in a tour the storage area where all the small planes are worked on and stored. The girls got to see different planes and he talked about each one. He even let them climb into his and pretend to fly. These girls thought it was pretty awesome; especially the nice ma who let us do it all.
