Lainey Play Date

Yesterday the girls and I were planning on swimming most of the morning. Since Anna is off the bubble and ready to swim on her own I thought it would be good to get her swimming with one of her friends who is also swimming. So we invited her friend, Lainey, from preschool to join us.

We had so much fun! 2 1/2 hours spent swimming at the pool (Anna swam the entire time by herself). We had the entire pool to ourselves for over half that time!! They laughed, smiled, played chase, pretended to be sharks, swam in the deep end, jumped of the side and just had so much fun!!!! Abby was even in the water with Mommy for an hour! She just loves the water. And then she took an hour nap in her carrier while the girls continued swimming. She was beat!!!

Then we all went to McDonalds where we ate and played for over an hour. It was a super, super fun playdate!

About 2 hrs into swimming Anna looked at Lainey and said, "I am having so much fun with you Lainey. I am happy you are here." It made my heart melt! And the three of them play SO good together; Anna calls Lainey her preschool friend and Ashley calls her her Dance friend since Lainey is in Ashley's dance class. And Lainey just LOVES both Anna and Ashley :)
