Homemade Baby Gate

Pretty proud of Rob's and my teamwork creating this "barn door" baby gate! We were inspired after striking out numerous times with baby gates and finding out that the only ones that would work will cost around $100 each; and we need 4!!!!

So thanks to pinterest this was created!!!!

Rob built and I painted and lightly distressed (the blue is a pretty close match to the blue clock in our living room). All for just around $30. Cheaper and nicer then anything out on the market! And the cool thing is that after we are done with these gates I will do something with the door as home decor... just not sure yet :)

We love it! Can't wait to see what Abby thinks of it... I am sure she will just sit there and moan and groan and complain like she does when anything is in her way!!!
