This past Saturday we went to our buddy Hank's birthday party. And we had so much fun!
It was a pirate party and his entire backyard was transformed into a tropical island with a lot of pirate stuff. We dressed as pirates, dug for treasures in the sand box and mulch, played with the water table, ate a pirate cake and pirate themed snacks, drank bright blue juice, sang happy birthday, hit a piñata and laid on the hammock. The hammock was where we spent most of our time and we LOVED it and want one for our backyard. Hank had told us to bring our favorite pillow and they had blankets in the shade where we put our pillow and could go to it whenever we wanted to. Anna thought this was so funny and would love at me and say, "Hank is so funny mommy. Bring your own pillow. He's silly!" We ate some piñata candy while laying on our pillows and Abby had fun looking up at the trees.
We just love birthday parties!
