Trick or Treat!

For Trick or Treating we did what we did every year. 4:00 we went to our friend Mary Epplers (daughter of Stephanie Eppler) and then headed over to the Horton's house for a Halloween Party. Grama, Papa, Gigi, Kate's Grama and Papa, Grammy, Poppy, Uncle Aaron, Aunt Laura, Henry and Frances all joined in on the party too. We had a blast, ate lots of good food and chili, did some amazing trick or treating (Anna filled her pumpkin with tons of candy) and had lots of fun. 

Trick or treating was more fun this year because Anna was running (or trying to run) with Kate and Henry. She was always a couple steps behind but she totally understood what was going on. She was so cute telling everyone that the scary stuff was "just pretend" and when she would say trick or treat and thank you. She really had an absolute blast. the next morning when she woke up she told me she wanted to go trick or treating again, this time to our neighbors.

Ashley did fine for the first couple of houses but once she got her hands on a Strawberry Shortcake comic book from the first house, all she wanted to do was sit on the corner of the street and read her book with Daddy. And occasionally go through her candy.

I just love Halloween and it gets more fun each year they get older!

Daddy wants to take me to a couple houses since he was with Ashley most of the night. Can't wait!
