Friday night we all went to Jalapenos to surprise Grama for her birthday. Papa had been out of town when we celebrated earlier in the week and he wanted to have a party for her. So we decided a surprise at Jalapeno's- Grama would never think something was up!
But guess what?!?! Right when we were walking into Jalapenos with Gigi, Grama and Papa were pulling up. Grama got out and said, "Surprise!!!" And mommy was speechless... the surprise had been ruined. But luckily Gigi was quick to respond and said, "What are you doing here? These guys were taking me out to eat." (Nice save Gigi!)
So Grama still had no clue a surprise was coming. And then we walked in and mommy quietly asked the hostess if "Todd party of 10" had been seated. Grama overheard and said, "Todd. What, are they here too?" Once again, I am speechless.
So we turn the corner to see Anne sitting all by herself at a table for 10. Grama says, "What, I wasn't invited???" She was SO confused! She thought the Horton's and us were taking Gigi out and didn't invite her!
SURPRISE Grama!!!!!!!!! We had to explain that it was her party!!! I think we surprise her. Good job Papa!
