Easter Morning

I think this video best describes the excitement around our house Easter morning.

Easter Bunny Video

In case you didn't understand her she was singing the Easter bunny song below:
"the Easter Bunny's coming, coming, coming; the Easter Bunny's coming to my house! He'll bring an Easter basket, basket, basket; he'll bring an Easter basket, just for me!!!!"

After that we went on an Easter egg hunt in the living room. No pictures were taken because I was video taping instead. The Easter bunny was really good to the girls and letter, eggs, toys and a big Daisy duck and Donald duck stuffed animal. Needless to say both girls didn't care for the note. Ashley opted to pay attention to her new beanie baby duck (and say "duck" 50 times during the "hunt") and then play with our play lawn mower which wasn't new at all, just been stored in our basement for the winter. Anna loved finding the eggs and was most excited about her book, One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.

Daddy made us an Easter Bunny pancake to share (yes it's supposed to say "a" because we just had enough mix to make one and with moving there is no way I am bringing more food in this house!) and we had lots of fruit!

Then off to church to meet the Fimmen side for the first of 2 family festivities! During church Anna was constantly asking Aunt Anne and Grandma about the cross on the altar and was panicked since she couldn't see it for a while. Then she asked then about Jesus, Mary and so on. Quite the inquisitive little one :) And Ashley, well she lap jumped from me to grandma the entire time while eating some snacks. The girls did GREAT at church and it was adorable seeing Anna and Kate walked up to communion together with their hands pressed together in prayer. They are so cute at this age!

Here we are dressed in our Easter best!
Yes, this is the best individual picture I could get. What a graceful curtsy!! And notice the necklace? Anna had made it the day before at Daddy's church and wanted to wear it to church.
Shoes are a pain! Ashley shoes were constantly falling off or being pulled off!

Much Love,
Jenny
