Lee's Summit Downtown Days

Saturday morning we picked the girls up from Grammy and Poppys and headed with Grammy to the Lee's Summit Farmers Market and Downtown Days Festival. We spent a little over 2 hours there and had a really good time. We walked around and saw the vendors, the petting zoo, tasted samples, played little vendor kid games. walked into the fire station, watched and listened to a band perform on stage and even walked around the pop up carnival and rode two rides.

The girls highlight- the ferris wheel ride, meeting the police man (Anna's) and the shaved ice from the shaved ice truck :) My highlights were riding the ferris wheel with them and hearing them yell over and over, "This is awesome!!!!" and watching them ride the car ride- they were hilarious to watch!!!! so excited and goofy :)

I love little festivals and hope to make it to some more with the kids this summer :)

I love this picture....

 And this one too....

We are somewhere on there :)
