Birthday Decorations and Food

Ashley wanted a princess, pirate and puppy dog birthday so that is what she got!!!

We decorated the front room like the movie Frozen for Ashley's favorite princess, princess Elsa, and then decorated the kitchen with pirates. She told me the week before that she only wanted a puppy dog cake and no puppy dog decorations so that is what we did.

Anna dreamed up the decorations. She told me that we HAD to hang snowflakes from the ceiling since we never hung anything from the ceiling for her birthday. The girls both helped me with the snowflakes. I did all the cutting (which wasn't much) and they did most of the taping. We created about 40 snowflakes so we had quite the winter wonderland! And of course a party is never complete without balloons, or so says Anna!

We created a treasure map that outlined the layout of the party. I am so glad we did this because it totally put ownership of the party into the kids hands and I was able to relax instead of worrying about what we were going to move onto and when. Anna was really into the map and making sure we were moving onto the next activity that she was called "party planner" throughout the evening. This may be a new addition to every party!

It was a super fun theme to decorate with and Ashley loved EVERY single detail :)

FROZEN PRINCESS ELSA!

Anna had made 2 of these at preschool and wanted to make more for Ashley's party

The dessert table was in here and all the desserts were white like snow :)

PIRATES!!!

Rob is totally thinking.... "Another birthday. Here they go again.....Abby... please don't be into party planning like them...."   :)
