We hiked to a castle...
Then we hiked to see the natural bridge...
Had a nice picnic lunch right before it starts to POUR down rain.....
So we wait out the rain for 15 minutes and then drive to our next spot, the Spring Trail Head. The rain had stopped and was now more of a drizzle so we decided to risk it. Half way through the hike to the spring it stopped raining and then 30 minutes later a huge downpour. Needless to say we saw the spring in its glorious beauty without rain and then got DRENCHED on the walk (run) back.
Easiest the prettiest thing I have seen in Missouri....
And yup- then the RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thankful to be out of the rain, we headed to our hotel room at Camden on the Lake Resort.
The rain had stopped so we were able to enjoy all the hotel had to offer and decided to do pizza at the pool for dinner.
And Ramen noodles after in the hotel room :)
And a little trip downstairs to horny toads to get this little toad some nachos.
Dessert in bed and then good night!
