After a rainy night in the tent, we all woke up dry to a dry and peaceful morning. We tried to check the weather but had no internet connection so we decided that the rain had surely passed over. So we ate a good breakfast and headed out on a 4 mile round trip hike to a swimming hole and waterfall.
We found the swimming hole and decided to continue walking to find the waterfall and on the way back we'd enjoy swimming in the hole...
Then when we were maybe 1/4 mile away from the waterfall, it starts raining again...
By the time we get back to the swimming hole; pouring....
It was a wet 1.5 mile hike out of there......
Then on the way to our cabin Daddy decided that we needed to visit the ER because of similar pains he had while on vacation to Aruba. We check in, get an EKG ran and blood work done. After we find out that he may stay overnight (but is atleast there for another 3 hours) the girls and I decided to head out to the nearby outlets.
We shopped for sweatshirts, umbrellas, back to school clothes and shoes.
We even stop at Applebees for dinner. Funny we have never been to an Applebees yet there is one 1 mile away from our house.... the girls loved it.
Then we joined Daddy back at the hospital where he was discharged and ran into this slimy guy on our way out. Luckily Daddy was ok.
When we got to our cabin (a lot later then we thought we'd get there) the girls organized the refrigerator, played some pool while Mommy rejoiced at the sight of a laundry machine!!! Abby was asleep through the whole thing :)
