Smokey Mountain Road Trip- Central Smokies Day 7

Last morning in the dry cabin so it was hard to wake these little up to start the day....

Bye Cabin...

We went back to the park; this time taking the road leading out west....

Our first stop- horseback riding.

We all were super excited and then Abby freaked out right before climbing on the horses. the main man (who was quite the asshole) told us she wasn't going to be riding today because she can't handle it. So annoyed and mad that he didn't let us parent our child, Daddy and Abby stayed back while Anna, Ashley and Mommy rode horses for the first time together.

It was my first time ever riding a horse. And almost the entire time we rode, my horse was having a coughing fit. I was 100% convinced that the horse was going to keel over and die and land on my leg, therefore leading us back to the ER again. I was on edge the entire time. Our trail guy tried to reassure me that he just ate dusty hay and that there was nothing to be scared of..... I don't know about that....

But anyway the girls loved the horse back riding even though the trail leader got annoyed with Ashley's horse and held onto Ashley's reins for the last 20 min.... Ashley didn't like that...

Afterwards we continued on our drive out west and look at the sky!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had a picnic at Metcalf Bottoms....

And then started Chasing Water Falls.

Our first one- Laurel Falls....

Finally a dry hike...

The base of the falls.... creek stomping for an hour!

These three girls were crazy climbers!

On our walk down we found this right off the pathway.... YIKES!

Beautiful Views...

Her curls :)

Then we continued on the road towards Cade's Cove, hitting several other waterfalls on the way...

Once we got to Cade's Cover campground, we checked in, rented bikes and made dinner.

After dinner we decided to go for a sunset drive around the loop that we would be biking in the AM. All was beautiful and glorious until..... you might have guessed it.... RAIN. We hadn't rain proofed out tent either..... but luckily once we got back we were able to have some dry blankets and tent.... This rain.... But as you will see, Cade's Cove 11 mile loop is gorgeous!!!!

We saw a family of black bears and then RAIN.......

BOO to rain....
