The picking was good but for some reason I remember last years picking being better. Maybe it's because most of the peaches had slight damage to the look (they still tasted great) due to hail a couple weeks back and it was harder to find the "perfect" peach. Or maybe we went out later in the season. Not sure. But one thing is for sure- I may have lost my sunglasses amongst the peach trees but those peaches made the best peach cobbler I have ever had. Yes, it was that good.
We love all the u-pick places KC has to offer!!! Just hope we get out to get the blackberries next week :)
