Fritz Loven State Park and Nisswa

While on the Stilley vacay we also hit up the town of Nisswa and a state park that was on the way into town. We started the morning with a hike (that we failed miserably at in following the trail and ended up following the creek instead) and playground time at Fritz Loven State Park. Bugs weren't great but they weren't bad if we kept moving. The kids were troopers on the hike and lunch was well deserved with what we put ourselves through :)

We had lunch in Nisswa at a brewery. For the first time in forever I could have drank the entire flight myself. I am normally not a fan of the two darkest but for some reason really liked there's. Maybe it was a sign that I was just needing beer bad or something :) Or it was just really good beer.

Then we walk a bit around the town and ended our time there with ice cream and participation in the towns turtle races. None of our turtle won (I think Abby and my turtle took 3 steps) but it was fun.

Leland found a frog in a tree stump- coolness.
Ashley wanted her picture right by the frog :)
The hike to nowhere :)

Hiking wore her out :)

Kids only table :)

Turtle races!
