Stitches are out!

This past Tuesday we went back to St Luke's South to get Anna's stitches out. Daddy had told her that when you get stitches out it doesn't hurt; it just feels weird. So going into it, Anna was all smiles and super excited for the whole family to go to the hospital with her.

It took so time to get the stitches out. The nurse complemented Anna on keeping it so clean and said it is healing perfectly. Anna was super smiles! Then she cut the stitches and took them out. According to Anna, "they didn't hurt; they just felt weird." Just like Daddy said they would!!!!

So now we are still wearing a band aid to keep it clean and to keep the Maderma cream on it. Anna is usually the one reminding me that it is time to clean/reapply the cream. She just LOVES taking care of this boo boo!

As for Ashley, she has had sympathy boo boo's on her forehead. The band aid on her forehead first appeared when we were in Texas and lasted a good 5 days. She is no longer wearing the sympathy aids!!!!!

Much Love,
Jenny
