Abouyt a month ago, Rob decided to insulate, board up, paint and install carpet in a crawl space stemming off the playroom closet. He intended to build the girls a "hideout" and a place for their babies and dolls to hang out.
Well... last weekend it was complete. And it is awesome.
Here they are applying the first coat of paint. Rob and I did the second coat of paint because we could do it much faster. The girls ended the process by painting anything they wanted on the walls. Towards the end of painting, they asked me to help with the spiral streamers.
It turned out perfect. Their perfect hiding spot.
Give Rob a month or two break and then he's going to tackle the one on the opposite side of the closet as well.
Such lucky kids.....
