RMNP- Sprague Lake

Our second day was spent in the Bear Lake Area.

After our descent into Estes Park, Abby threw up in the car. Poor baby... luckily she bounces back quickly and seemed ok. Now the girls all make a point to look out the windows and not do art work while driving in the mountains :)

On the way up to Bear Lake we stopped at Sprague Lake to do what we thought would be a rather quick mile walk around a lake. We shortly found that these girls are explorers and nothing is quick when we are hiking :)

Abby wasn't feeling like hiking this morning so we told her she could lead us on this hike. She did a 180 degree turn and was more then ready to hike.....

We watched fishermen fish, drew letters and pictures in the gravel path almost the entire walk around, played in the lake, took lots of selfies, watched horses walk by on trails, sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery, climbed some trees, chased some chipmunks, found some flowers that were already "picked," saw some ducks and did some off path climbing and exploring and found a hiking stick for everyone!!!!

PS This no picking flower stuff in national parks is pretty darn hard.... I think they have asked close to 50 times to pick flowers...
