She asked to read during playtime in school and when Mrs. Z found out she was reading a chapter book all on her own (and she choose to during play time) she gave her this awesome bookmark! You would have thought the bookmark was made of gold :) Anna said all her friends were walking by during play time and asking why she was reading. Her response, "Because I like to!" Apparently it got to loud in the room she she moved out into the hall.
And now she can't STOP reading. Quietly to hersef, to her sister or outloud to me :) It's amazing what a simple move to chapter books can do for a childs love for reading because a couple days before she was telling me she didn't like reading anything but Dr. Suess. Well, that is in the past!
