Shatto Milk Farm

Cousins are in town and that means one thing... a Stilley Stay-cation!!!!!

First stop- Shatto Milk Company.

We met Henry, Frannie, Aaron, Laura and Grammy at the farm a little over an hour north of here. We got to tour the facilities and see just what goes into getting milk from the farm to the grocery store. The girls really enjoyed it and loved watching them get milked (all 3 of us tried to milk a cow with our hand). We also watched the bottling process which was cool and tried several different samples of milk- chocolate, root beer (my fave), cotton candy, banana, strawberry and a couple other I can't remember. We also sampled some cheese and butter products. Then we had a nice picnic and afterwards the cousins played around in the open space.

Really cool place. Really good milk :)

These cows were just days old.....
This one's udder was about to burst. I felt sorry for the little lady....
peek-a-boo!
After much consideration and thought she actually milked the cow :)
Followed by this one
The kids loved the baby kitty cats roaming the farm. Not going to lie they were adorable.

The Stilley girl cousins (minus Abby!)
