Aruba Day 4

After the crazy events of 4 wheeling the day before it was time for some relaxing fun in the sun.

We went on a chartered half morning 3 hr snorkeling tour (complete with free drinks and food). We visited 2 snorkeling sites- the 2nd largest ship wreck in the Caribbean (the Antilla) and a bay known for good snorkeling.

It was a very windy day (even windy for windy Aruba) and the captains thought we were crazy letting Anna and Ashley get off at the shipwreck. I convinced them that they were stronger swimmers then me and I think they were shocked that little girls from Kansas can swim like they did! It was super cool to see the shipwreck and some underwater life. Then we went to a calmer bay where the whole family went in. It didn't even compare to the snorkeling in Belize but it was still pretty darn cool. Super proud of Abby and Ashley for getting in and trying it!

The view of the island (Palm Beach where the resorts are) from the sailboat.....

Palm Beach....

After buying hats to protect the girls from the sun we stopped for an afternoon smoothie snack- YUM!!!!!

We really regret not buying this....

Then we left the crowded Palm Beach (it was gorgeous but crowded) and headed to a small uncrowded and beautiful Divi Bay. Abby wanted to work on her math book (she's addicted) and the girls just played Barbies all afternoon long.

After a quick rinse off in the pool we headed to Eagle Beach (my most favorite Beach there) for a gorgeous sunset.

I hope this one never stops her sunset dances on the beach.....

And we ended the day with electronic time in bed. What a day!
