We were in charge of making a Baptismal memory board for display in the entry way. Anna really enjoyed seeing this project come together and hearing about her baptism.
As for her first communion outfit, she chose to wear my old first communion dress that my sister also wore almost 35 years ago. So special; she was so excited to have worn Gipa Larry's baptismal gown (the same one I wore) and the same First Communion dress that both her mom and Godmother wore. She received pearl earrings and a pearl bracelet from mommy and daddy which she wore as well.
Grammy, Poppy, Grama and Papa joined us in experiencing Anna's first communion with her during church. She was so excited (and a little nervous) when walking up with us to receive communion. She chose to dip the host into grape juice instead of the wine and said it tasted soggy. She was grinning ear to ear the entire time.
After church we headed over to Gigi's house to visit and so she could see Anna all dressed up.
Then we ended the celebrations with lunch at Bravo with all the in town family. So special for this little one to have such great family surrounding her.
SIDE note- Anna received her second communion on Easter and said it was better then the first :) She cracks me up...

After brunch we got home and played Barbies...... :) This was all Anna's doing :)
