We got to San Ignacio around 5 (an hour before sunset).
And what was waiting for us was one big driving cluster. We had no clue where we were on our road maps, there were no signs dictating street names and it was getting dark. And getting dark and being almost "lost" in a foreign country with my children made this momma a bit anxious :)
We circled the town, crossed over the same bridges a couple of times and finally figured our way to the Parrot Nest jungle lodge in Bullet Tree Falls, Belize.
It was dark but it was still awesome. We were greeted by 3 of the sweetest dogs and the owner of the place, Theo. After dropping our bags off in the family cabin and treehouse (Theo had even given us another family cabin free of charge since we were switching to the cabin after one night in the treehouse and it was vacant for the evening), we joined the others stayed at the lodge for a "communal" type dinner. Dinner was good and it was really enjoyable to meet others traveling the country.

Nothing like jumping on "hotel" beds!!!!
Then after dinner we all called it a night; Abby and Daddy in the family cabin and mommy and the girls in one bed in the tree house.......... I bet you can guess who slept the best that night?!?!?!?
