The Drive

Could we have fit any more in our car?!?!?!?

The first hour started off rough- I think we stopped 4 times: potty, fix dad's golf clubs, Abby puked, fix dad's golf clubs again.... but we made up for it later in the day :)

I am not kidding when I say the entire thing was packed up to the kids knees. It was crazy!

Overall, the drive was a success. We drove 13 hours the first day and around 4 the second day. I really think our girls are getting used to the far distances (good since we are driving 10 1/2 hours tomorrow to Wisconsin!) Kate drove with us and the girls had fun talking, singing, watching DVD's, coloring, reading books and sharing snacks. Abby was the only one to sleep on the way down there. I still don't understand how they stay awake over 13 hours straight in a car.

When we got to Destin we went to Fudpuckers to try and eat but the wait was 1 1/2 hours at 1:30 in the afternoon- crazy!!! So we saw the alligators and then went to some Mexican place where the Fimmen's met us soon after.
