Happy 1/2 birthday to you

Saturday was Ashley's 1/2 birthday. And in this house the 1/2 birthday is the only day each year they get to go shopping and pick out their cake/frosting, make their cake, frost their cake, put as many sprinkles on their cake as they want and lastly, eat their cake after getting "happy half birthday" sang to them.

It feel like Ashley has been waiting weeks for this! Weeks I tell ya :) Everyday it was, how many more days until my half birthday? When do I get to go get my cake? I do get to make it all by myself, right mommy? She could. Not Wait.

And if it's not apparent through these pics, she sure LOVED her half birthday. Definitely worth the wait and anticipation!
