Last Thursday we went to get our hearing tested through the Blue Valley Parent As Teacher Program. Ashley went first and didn't want anyone to touch her ears, so it made the test a little difficult. But they had this lab where sounds came from different sections and things lite up. She passed the test with flying colors and they confirmed that she is hearing "normal" in one or both ears (they couldn't say both since they didn't have head phones on her). We will test her again before she turns 3.
Anna also did really well. They weren't going to test her but since she was there they said they'd give her a trial test to expose her to the test she will take in a couple of weeks so that she is familiar with what they ask her to do. I was really appreciative of this. They measured her ear drums and she has very healthy ear drums. They also had her do a hearing test that she didn't really understand how to do. But, she did fine. She goes again on Oct 15 for another hearing test and articulation test.
So the outcome of the tests- healthy ears for the Stilley Girls!!! (Not that hearing was a concern of mine, but it does feel good to know!) Then off to Costco with Grammy we went for a nice Costco shopping trip and lunch :)
