She was in the first race of the meet again and that was the won she won :) She held onto that heat winner ribbon for a good half hour or so she was so proud!
As for the other races she did great!!!!! She even placed overall in breast stroke again (not due to time, mostly due to the fact that half the girls were disqualified for technique). It pays to do the right stroke :)
She was slotted to swim 3 individual (free,back,breast) and 2 relay races. Since there weren't enough girls to make up another 8 and under medley relay team, Anna got put on a 9-10 year old relay to do the backstroke. And she did great!!! Slower then the others but swam that back stroke straight on without hitting the ropes. She amazes me :) As for her other relay- the free relay- due to an incoming storm, they stopped the race right before Anna swam her last event. She was completely bummed!!
It was a great meet for Anna :) She sure loves this swimming stuff!
