Cheer Camp and a T-bones Game

Last week the girls went to Lynn O'Brien cheer and dance camp. They were there all week, 2.5 hours a day. At the end of the week they cheered and did a dance performance at the pregame show of the T-bones game and got to cheer in the 4th of July parade in Lenexa. They were super excited because tons of their friends were cheering that week; Clare and Carilyn, Emma, Lainey, Ambriella and the Scheibel's. And of course leave it to Anna to make an extra friend or two during the week. This girl is pretty good at making friends (or at least according to her they are her friend :))

Besides cheer skills and a dance routine, the girls cam out of the week telling us these two main things:

Ms Lynn says no boys until your 18.

Ms Lynn also says drink LOTS of water and eat the healthy food your mommy/daddy cooks for you.

After hearing this we may want to send them back to camp next week :) It was a great experience; both girls want to cheer with Ms Lynn again. And soon!!!

The T-bones game was great. We decided to tailgate beforehand with the girls friends families. They had a ball. During the game they ran around with their friends, ate cotton candy and snow cones and had a ball. We even stayed for fireworks! Ashley loved the fireworks, Abby didn't know what to think of them but watched them anyway and Anna watched them cautiously with fingers in her ears.

It was a great experience.
