Swim Team End of Year Party

This past Sunday we celebrated Anna's swim team season with her team at the pool. She had a blast running around and swimming with her teammates. Ashley and Abby also had a blast FINALLY getting into that swimming pool!!!!! Ashley and Anna jumped of the low diving board a number of times; "Mommy it feels like I was flying," Ashley kept saying over and over again!

We had a nice dinner of pizza, sides and desserts. Then we listened to the coaches give out awards in which they had an award for everyone. Many people got silly awards. It was very nice of the coaches to do that. Our Anna got "Most Improved" award, or according to her the "Most Important" award. :)

We couldn't have been more proud. Both Rob and I got teary eyed (dorks) but were so happy that others took notice on her improvement and how hard she had worked. By the end of the season she really was keeping up with the 8 year olds in all her strokes :)

We hope it works out to be on the Neptune's swim team next year. Regardless we will find a summer swim team; Anna insists!!! And so does Ashley :)
