Vegetable Picking
A couple weeks ago I had purchased a family pass (2 adults and 4 children) for Johnson Farms pumpkin patch. We had gone once for pumpkins and have been wanting to get back to pick veggies with the girls. So on this beautiful 80 degree October afternoon we picked up Grama and headed out to pick!
Abby was asleep for most of it. Anna and Ashley helped Grama pick all sorts of veggies. They hand picked purple cauliflower, broccoli, beets, the biggest cabbage I have ever seen, green beans (which all 4 of my girls life to apparently eat raw!). brussel sprouts, tomatoes and cucumbers. They even pick beautiful flowers!
We had so much fun and all got pretty muddy (the only downside to the trip) and hope to get out there again next week.
both girls LOVED pulling the beets! Anna probably pulled 10 on her own. Yes, we have a lot of HUGE beets to eat :)
They had a blast picking and eating the green beans!!
Even this little one :)
Can't leave the farm without jumping on the orange pillow and seeing a pig race :) So needless to say that;s how we ended out trip to Johnson's!
