A male firefighter answered the door and the girls shyly gave him the cookies. Then Anna told him her name. When he asked Ashley her name she got all shy and wouldn't say anything so Anna answered for her and Abby. Then they quietly "hinted" (mommy had to ask) that they wanted to see the fire truck.
We went back to see the fire truck and the fireman let the girls walked around it and he showed them all the cool things about it. Then he asked them if they wanted to drive and Anna looked at him so seriously and said, "NO." (as if she was afraid- I think she thought he was serious!!!) Ashley then mimicked her sister (of course!)
As we were leaving Anna asked me where the fire was on the truck. How cute. Fire-truck. Anna thought we'd see fire on the truck!!!! So then we spent sometime talking about what a fire truck does and who firemen help. I think we might need to get a book on firemen (and other educational things) instead of a princess book next time we are at the library!!!!!

PS As we were leaving Anna said she wanted to send something to the firemen. She told us she wanted to send them a picture of Ariel.
PSS We also decided that we need to make cookies for our mail lady too- we REALLY like her!
