Anna's Birth- DAY

Anna got to chose anything that she wanted to do for her birthday today. And here's what we did!

1. Got a hamburger and a special orange drink from winstead's- yum yum!

2. Went to see The Little Mermaid at the theatre and HAD to dress up for it! Anna wore the mermaid outfit; Ashley wore Ariel's pink dress. They loved every minute of it and we were 4 of 7 people in the theatre. Abby was a champ- she watched attentively for the first hour, made some noises, nursed and then slept for the last 30 minutes. You wouldn't have even known she was there.

3. Played and played and played with mommy while Abby and Ashley slept

4. Went to Mimi's for dinner. She was really confused on how the waitress knew it was her birthday (and why someone sang to her that she didn't know) and decided that she must do that for all her people. We described how she was nice and wanted to celebrate her birthday with Anna. She was then too shy to eat the dessert so Rob and I took care of it for her!

5. Opened gifts and played

So much fun!!!!

Birthday Breakfast

Just what every 4 year old wants for breakfast on their birthday..... cold spaghetti! And what the birthday girl wants, the birthday girl gets on her special day :)

Good thing we had left overs from last night and it was much easier then chocolate chip pancakes from previous years!

Then we were off to go play with Miss Lisa (Anna's speech teacher!)

Birthday Fairy

Today Anna woke up to purple balloons all over her room. She was stoked (except she kept calling them pinkish purple instead of purple!!)

She ran into my room to tell me and when I asked her why she had balloons on her floor, she said, "Mommy, I'm 4!!!!!" Then when I asked her who she thought did it, she said the Happy Birthday Fairy. (Too cute, huh?)

So when Ashley woke up we spent a good hour of the morning playing in the balloons!

We love this birthday tradition!!!!!
