the big sister

If this picture doesn't show it, Ashley is so excited to be a big sister. She has exceeded our every expectation this first week and has welcomed Baby Abby with loving and caring arms and tons of kisses!

She was super excited to deliver to Abby her first paci in the hospital (we won't try the paci until around 2 weeks to avoid nipple confusion but we will let you know then how it goes). She has appointed green paci's as Abby's.

Ashley couldn't believe this huge bucket of paci's in the nursery!

Although short lived and very cautious, she was super ready to hold Abby when it came her time in the hospital. She still asks to hold her.

What a great big sister Ashley is. When you ask her who a big sister is, she looks at you and smiles and says "Ashley is!!!" She is also the best at making sure Abby has her lovies.
