Last Friday Anna was invited over to a friends house for the first time. Yes, we have played with neighbors and gone to other playgroup members houses but this was an official friend from preschool inviting her over, Lainey. If you can't tell by the picture above, Anna was pure excited!!!! I had made the mistake of telling her about the play date almost a week early and multiple times a day she would ask if it was time to go to Lainey's house.
Well, finally Friday arrived and it happened. We went to Lainey's. And Anna even let (ok she didn't really have a choice but she was fine with it) Ashley tag along too :)
The girls had so much fun! Anna's other best friend from preschool, Kendall, joined in on the fun too. They played with Lainey's toys, played in her room, played outside on her Barbie double jeep (Anna was a crazy, crazy driver!), jumped on her trampoline and played on her swing set. Everyone got along so well, even with Ashley. It was great seeing Anna have so much fun with girls her age and seeing Ashley feel so comfortable too. I barely saw them once we arrived.
Oh and how can I forget the cat? The cat was the center of attention. 8 weeks old, the fur ball was nothing less then loved by these 4 girls. Anna might have squeezed a little too hard (which she has a tendency to do) because the cat scratched her....
We can't wait to keep playing with these two little ladies this summer. We also found out that they are in the same preschool class- yipeeeee!!
