It is so nice having a neighborhood pool a street away. This past week we went 6 times. We would stay anywhere from 1 1/2 to 2 hours at a time. It is an awesome way to attempt to wear the girls out and to keep them in good moods. And a good way to meet the neighbors!
We love the baby pool. We bring a ton of toys to keep up busy! The girls just run around it and literally have the times of their life. Anna loves sitting in the ground and loves going the "wheelbarrow" around the pool on her arms and belly. She also loves to dunk her head under water... who is this child? It's GREAT!
The girls are becoming more and more comfortable with the big pool. This past weekend both girls literally jumped off the side of the pool into our arms WITH smiles on their faces. Ashley is such a daredevil and Anna feeds off her fearlessness. They are so cute to watch, especially when Anna tries to get Ashley to jump at the same time as her or do "So big's" the same time as her. Anna is getting more comfortable with the back float and will let me hold just under her head.
I don't know what we will do come labor day weekend when the pool closes for the season. Go to the gym pool????
